The school was set up by Ridhima Shiksha Samiti in 2021 for a specific reason: families in Malihabad, Mall, Kakori, Rahimabad and Mohan were travelling into Lucknow city and back every day for a CBSE senior secondary education, or sending their children away from the district altogether. The intention was to build here what parents were travelling for.
That means the full CBSE course rather than a truncated version of it, laboratories and a library that are used in timetabled periods rather than shown to visitors, a residential wing for children who live too far to travel daily, and a staff room stable enough that a child is taught by the same people for more than one year at a time.
A games period sits inside the timetable rather than being bolted onto the end of it. Evening prep for boarders is supervised by a subject teacher on the floor, not by a warden with a register, so a doubt is settled the evening it appears. Houses are kept small enough that a housemaster knows what each boarder scored in their last test.
None of that is unusual for a good school. It is unusual for a school this far out of the city, which is the entire point of putting one here.
The most useful thing any parent can do is walk in on a working day and look at a classroom mid-period. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, no appointment is needed, and nobody will be given half an hour's notice to tidy up.
